After much deliberation... i've decided to put my dog up for adoption... because i'm currently serving ns, my family isn't supportive and my dad doesn't like the dog so he chains it up for long periods of time.. and it really pains me to see it chained and lifeless when i come hm on weekends and non of my family members are willing to bring it out for the runs it needs.. so im hoping to find a nice loving home

Status: For Adoption

Breed: Labrador

Name: An An

Age: about 2 years old

Gender: Female

Spayed/Neutered: spayed

Reason for Being Given Up: family unsupportive... dad chains it up for long periods of time

Good with Children: Good with children...

Good with Dogs: Good with all other dogs.. but might get over friendly and irritate the other dogs

Good with other animals: Yes, likes to play with cats too..

Dog's Temperament: Extremely friendly

Dog's Problems: Loves to lick, chew on stuff.. but will do fine if provided with a chew toy

Ideal Owner: One with a supportive family of dog lovers who can bring it out for frequent runs...

Ideal Home: preferably living in a private estate

Other information: Pretty much cowardly.. needs protection and love.. doesn't react well with the stick method... rewards work better than punishment.. greedy... loves snacks... Loves to go to dog runs... will behave really well if brought out on frequent runs... but will start acting weird/misbehave to attract attention if not brought out on runs often enough.. besides bringing it to dog runs.. it can also be brought out on unleashed walks/runs round the estate.. it will note the direction you are going in and follow you... but this can only be done late at night where there are little ppl and cars as it gets distracted easily... It also loves to go holland village for a meal @ breakos... it will generally behave itself while you have your meal.. provided you bring along food to feed it too.. but it has to be leashed as holland v is crowded and it will get distracted.

Bro SniperY, this one might meet your requirement of short coat and minimum maintenance.

JRT (http://www.doggiesite.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=47676)

Hi all,

A fren of mine has to give up her JRT for adoption.

Name: Oscar
Age: 2-years old
Sex: Male
Sterilised: Nil
Adoption fees: $Nil
Picture: Visit this link - http://www.mosaiccreatives.com.sg/Oscar/oscar

Description:
Oscar is very hyper and not so barkish. He is the perfect playmate if you're looking for an attention seeking JRT.

Reason:
She is getting married and both husband and wife will not be home til after work at night. Therefore, nobody will be home to look after. And her mum do not wish to keep the JRT anymore as he is too hyper and her mum have a hard time looking after, or rather, "going" after it. She have the intention of putting him at the SPCA right after my fren's wedding that is 11th November, this coming saturday. But we managed to convinced her to let interested adoptors to look at Oscar first.

Note:
They live in a landed property, thus the JRT basically shits and poos in the garden anywhere. So he needs to be toilet trained by the new owner.

Please contact me on my mobile if you're interested to see Oscar.

Bro zongsheng, quick....................

For Adoption: 5yrs old Shih Tzu x Maltese
(http://www.dogsforum.sg/forums/index.php?showtopic=6187)

I have a 5 yrs old male Shih Tzu x Maltese for adoption. His name is Happy. He was an abandoned dog found by my friend. He was very filthy and had skin problem when he was found. Brought him to a vet and was told that he had fungus. Had shaved him down in order for him to recover faster. He has recovered after his medication and constant bathing with medicated shampoo. But vet advise that after his recovery, he should be bathed with the medicated shampoo once a month, and proper diet to be given. Anyway, he has a microchip, but the previous owner didn’t register him with the AVA.

Happy is friendly and not barkish. I am looking for a responsible owner who is willing to shower him with love and care.
