seen most on documentary
the first fish is a ancient fish million of year old
found it again only a few years back in african ocean

the second is known as Diamond trevally found in local water too can be eaten very nice fished and ate this before

third is giant mekong catfish found in the Mekong river from Cambodia to Thailand fished this before in Thailand it is similar to the smaller known as Patin fish http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRTdMz3fD-s&feature=related

Happen to see a short documentary on the Giant Catfish
locals just use their hand to catch
(whole hand inside the fish)
no net and hand is the bait
lol

This is a gar fish. But have seen much bigger ones around 2 metres in length.
