Your fish look like KF Breed.If this is correct,you need to take care the water condition first.Norematter what type of fishes you keep.The water is the one most you need to takecare follow by the tank set up like good filteration/lighting/corels/place/location which will not have people shadow one.This will scare the fish and the grow will be slow and the fish will turn to black plus no eating.After that,use the good food like Sakura Pallet/BW which do not have artificial color on it.If your want to feed life food,will do but the water will get poluted fast and vary hard to keep to the good condision.As per my own experience,No color enchanger pallet is good for FH and let it develop the coloration by itself.The fish will leave longer too.The PH of the water for KF is better to be 7.2 to 7.5.This will make the head grow bigger.If you got free time try to use hand/mirror to play with it.This will develop the fish strangt and it will get angry too.This will help to pump up their head even bigger.Hope all this will help you up for all the TLC,just from my personel experiance.Cheer!

i just tear out the backgroud for my gold fish....now want to put back......got to wait till a water change.,.....at least more than 50%....if not i can't move the tank by myself.

1 No probelm with tankset as sufficient flow rate for fish development. But the body do not look well develop led to two questions :

A Due to food in take?

or

B What pellets did u try to feed?ANy problems with the pellets as healthy fish should be eating well.


If problem with A, means early sign of intenal bacterior. Try using general aid for fish.

If problem with B, try other type of pellets as current pellet could be wrong.
