hi there,
anyone try this new software?the review is not to bad.but worth an upgrade?

unless u've a powerful machine (generally less than 1 year old). vista is more of an eye candy than anything else, not really worth the upgrade cos it's a resource guzzler (i.e. take up a lot of harddisk space + memory), unless u're a die-hard techie and gamer. although vista is one of the more secure windows produced, i'd suggest waiting for a couple of years more for the bugs to be discovered and rectified. besides, microsoft will provide continual support for XP users until i think 2017, so no rush bro.

My free compaq desktop from Starhub entitled me to upgrade to Vista.... wonder whether I should take up the offer.
My counsin advised me to opt for Home Premium, rather than Home Basic.

agree with you, unless u are die hard techie that die die must try new software, it pays to wait and let them get rid of all the bugs first
