Hi every one,
Just want o share something after seeing those photos of diseased fish.
To me Furan 7 has been one of the most effective cure for most diseases.
I learnt about his medicine about 2 years ago when I first got my siamese tiger (ST) fish. May be due to water (as I was using internal filter and later overhead filter and finally to my current overhead dry trickle filter system for my 4x2x2 feet tank), one of the eyes of the ST got cloudy. I used the standard treatment of metholine blue and even mineral salt but to no avail.
When I returned to LFS and explained my problem, the shop owner told me about Furan 7. However, it was too late, one of the internal eyeball has already dropped out so it was blinded one side.
Subsquently, i used it for other purposes such as lack of appetite, cloudy eye etc and it proved highly effective.
I dont want others to lose their precious fishes or even damaged to any body parts. Look around LFS for good medicines when you are there the enxt time and equip yourself with these knowledge.
However, the best is always prevention is better than cure.
Have a good filtration system that maintain the quality of the water and your fish wil be happy and of couse you too will be happy.
