Hi all,

Sharing another 5ft setup...majority LPS..

2nd pic is my ex true perculiar clown...very rare body pattern but too bad, short life:crying:

yap the perculiar clown is rare,and the 5footer look great,but shall cost u a bomb to set one:wink:by looking at it.

Yup, just a 5 footer like this would easily cost about min 3-4k...its the necessary equipment that is costly like the chiller, lighting and skimmer. Coral and fishes can add slowly:wink:

Bro,nice true percular clown,miss my percular clown :crying: have to give up my whole system due to the base of my 5ft marine tank silicon not done properly when set up:sad:

Aiyo, bro...sad to hear that..yes, construction of marine setup not like freshwater..need to reinforce the bracing stronger due to the higher pressure, but don't give up...its very satisfying once everything is done up nicely!:wink:

Meng, when you setting up your first one? Easy to start a simple 2 ft. No need chiller and skimmer, just lots of liverock cum regular wc will do the job. Of course I'm referring to hardy corals like leather or zoas to start with...:wink:

for marine, the set-up or start up part is tough,but upon u got it right,and its there for showpiece:big_smile:

Yes...very similiar to planted setup, must wait for the mother nature in the tank to take over the initial tedious part:big_smile:
