Some weeks ago I was undecided whether to keep these oranda fries as they were runts.

I was advised to throw them away so that I can better concentrate on the better endowed siblings for optimal growth. As is always the case, I love challenges and decided to keep 10 pieces of these runts and give them maximum “kao-hoon” 24/7. After 3˝ weeks, this is what I got. Mysteriously I was only left with 6 pieces and these are the best 3 pieces.

Somehow they seems to change colour much faster than their better endowed siblings.
Any chance they will grow up to look like this fella?

Bro,
Sometimes the more we try to take care of things, worry over them....the worst it is as our lives may be tie to it. The more we let go like in the case of this so called "runts" just look at them so beautiful as if they are trying to proof and tel us something
The story of the ugly duckling....
Good work bro...

Thanks for the compliments! Sometimes the solution is so simple and right at our door step. Sometimes we are being tied down to tradition that we refuse to look beyond us.

Here is an update of 4 of the 6 pieces of runts. One piece did not make it and the other piece was given away.
