I saw a red tail catfish at west coast park pond i think its carpark 1 b4 cross junction. Its approx 1metre plus n swimming amongst tilapias n other cichlids.

I guess tat pond has become a dumping ground...

Quite fun n entertaining to feed it w bread

Abit risking for very young children to go near that pond though...must be alert and careful:wink:

Its safe as long as you stay on the edge and do not overstep into the pond cos there's a drop. I have seen contractor engaged to clear the pond, its quite deep.

During the weekends u will see families there feeding the fish, playing in the park...

There are some who cast nets to catch fish.. but the red tail was never caught.. even if they did it will be a tough fight.. esp if pierced by the sting on the side and back..

But overall.. very entertaining to feed it
