Also known as Xback (crossback). Shiny pearlies (small scales) are neatly arranged below the dorsal fin. Intense shiny gold colour makes it the most elegant and highly priced Crossback available to both breeders and hobbyists.

Appearance:
The gill plate colour of MG or XB is yellowish to bright Gold.
The scale consists of inner core and outer rim. Crossbacks have yellowish, blue(ish), goldish to bright gold in the inner core. The outer rim will be in yellowish, goldish to bright gold. The scale development will up to 6th level so-called “crossback”.
The finnages colours are in yellowish, brownish, reddish to bright gold coloured in the pectoral, dorsal, anal and tail.
Distributions for most MG or Crossbacks are from Malaysia.
