As we all know betta dun need air pump 2 survive.:D
But when breeding, does eggs n fries need air pump:confused:

Hi Bro,
From my limited breeding experince, they dont need air pump as the father will keep them afloat in his bubble nest.
As they hatch, take out the father and lower the water level so they can swim up themselves to get oxygen from surface.:p

1. Can betta b kept in air-con room?
2. If 1 rear betta in ice kacang container. Need 2 cut a hole on the cover?

1) I never tried keeping them in air-con room. Bettas love warm waters and they thrive in it.
2) If you thinking of keeping HM, ice kacang container might be to small leh. See also not shiok. Container must be big so when they flare look nice.:D If u still want to keep in ice kacang container, yes must cut hole.

If u 1 save space. Maybe u can buy those betta tank dat can b stick onto the front wall of ur discus tank.
