normal marble motoro just look as normal motoro but with double ring chained as CMM for another name but RMM a very highly grade motoro with crack line in btwn spots with marble effect when mature as small as 9" dats consider fast so d bigger the higher d price

Can share a little on care of motoros? eg water change % and frequency, salt needed?cos I just got hold of 1 pair, 1 around 9inches (male), the other 7inches (female) housed in 4x2x2 tank.

They are really cute and fascinating.

Currently, feeding them mkt prawns though I experimented and found them more fond of live foods.

Hie david..well motoros are hardy rays to keep n less sensitive compare to other quality rays like pearl etc... since u mention motoros, i always monitor my ph reading abt 6.5..wc still depend with e quantity of rays u keeping n how big size of tank or fgt yet size of rays too. i can say 4x2x2 with 1 pair u may wc once or twice a week of coz 25% wc. as for me, i still concentrate with mp feeding which is safe n awesome looking in the future rather than lives feed. HAPPY KEEPING

Yes, they are quite hardy. Kept them for about a wk plus and they are doing well. Have done first WC, feeding them MP though the male dont really prefer it like the female.

How many are you keeping? Mainly Royal marbles? Polka dots are also nice but pricey.

Well i hv 7 pcs RMM, pair of pearl and pair leoXhenlei. agree with u bro, coz today quality rays such as polkadot, pearl, sp etc really deep ur pocket but still buy them coz they poison u. NEVER ENOUGH!

Bro Merz, yes prices are high for this type of ray but there are some LFS that sell at very competitive prices. Same size eg 12" fish incl tail cost bet S$1300 - 1800.

Bro, you mean black diamond at 12" selling at 1300-1800?? I think it is not possible as this p13 quality ray will easily hit more than the mentioned value.:drooling: :drooling:
