gone were the days when i keep my goldfish in guppy tank with air stone and goldfish bread. as soon as i gt my Hearts and Bubbles, i have found the gateway of incredible ways of keeping goldfish, the "hassle free" way. ROFL.
like how i care for my other "babies" i began to submerge myself to the world of what food to feed, when should i change water, and what filter system to use.

as i reach to the heart of the topic, the filter system. the main culpirt for my incredible headache. Naive me took one look at the fish shop at sunset way and bought the same filter system with them; air pump+ air stone+ side filter canister. unfortunately, i din "zoom" in to see whats underneath, the beautiful world called FILTRATION. The "fancy" little boxes with pebbles, and balls and other barang inside make it look so easy. then i began to read up on the more complicated filtration system, determined to keep my water as clear as possible. then u have fancy terms like "IOS" and "SUMP" simply add more haze to my mini brain. speaking of my useless brain, as soon as it hears that i have to drill a hole in my tank, it seemed to have automatically gone into a hang mode, refusing to budge.

experts whom i have talked to help shed some light to my idea of filtration through graphics and explaining and describing the process, and soon i realise that all of them are different, yet equally complicating..... so after reading the last 5 minutes of ranting, do share with me a picture of ur filter system ad probably, SUMP or IOS or any other methods of filtration. thank u bery bery much

The common types of filteration system in the market now is either the OHF (Over-head filteration) system or Sump system. IOS (Internal filteration system) personally i dont pefer them because of maintenance, but again is up to individual perferrence. You may surf around the filteration manangement hub for more info or refer to this thread http://www.fish-hub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=872. Do post your query if you face any difficulties and need help.
