SINGAPORE : Over 1 million people visited the four—day PC Show, which ended on Sunday evening.

Total sales at the event, which was held at Suntec City, amounted to S$51.7 million.
Many shoppers told Channel NewsAsia they were buying necessary items.
One shopper said, "It doesn’t really matter if (there is) inflation or not. If you need something, even if it’s expensive, you will still buy it."
Some were also at the PC Show for the lower prices.
A shopper noted, "There’s always some extra promotion...so people will just wait for the right timing before they buy (the product)."
Besides the low prices, organisers said the PC Show, with more than 600 exhibitors carrying a wide range of products, is a one—stop shop for consumers to stay informed.
Gillian Loh, Project Manager, Lines Exposition, said, "There is a trend for consumers to always to get to know more new products and trying to understand what is ’in’ in the market. And of course, people who come to the PC Show itself know that there are great bargains here at the show. "
For those who have missed this PC Show, there will be another one in three months.
