VermeX

In freshwater aquaria, the tiny white worm is a common occurrence when there are excess nutrients in the water. These worms of the Oligochatae class mostly feed on sludge and detritus. Vermex is an effective solution to this problem.

Directions for use:

8 drops / 50 litres (or a standard 2 ft tank)
Repeat treatment after 3 days if necessary.
10 ml treats 2000 litres approx.
DO NOT OVERDOSE
Mix Vermex in a cup of water
Stir thoroughly
Pour solution into the aquarium tank.
In case of accidental overdose, change the aquarium water.

Caution: Do not reuse container. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Seek medical treatment immediately if product is swallowed.

Keep in cool and dry place. Store below 40 degrees Celcius.

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE

May I know what is/are the active ingredient(s)?

A pesticide product has two main components: the active ingredient(s) and the inert (other) ingredient(s). The active ingredient is the specific compound designed to adversely effect a pest. Pesticide active ingredients are generally not applied in their pure form, but are usually included in formulations with inert ingredients that improve their storage, handling, application, effectiveness, or safety.
While the term "inert" implies that a substance is non-toxic, many inert pesticide ingredients are toxic to some degree. Assessments of the toxicity of pesticide products must therefore consider both active and inert ingredients. Only inert ingredients approved by U.S. EPA are allowed to be used in pesticide products, and they have been classified into several toxicity categories. However, data identifying the specific inert ingredients in all registered pesticide products is not publicly available.

Yes, but not in an aro tank. The tiger barb will end up as feeder to the aro.:o

Having WW in your tank is not the end of the day, in those LH day, I overfeed my LH and get WW in my 3ft tank, I was advised to take out the filter media and use hot water to kill them, of cos there goes my BB as well

Well, no need to panic (like me before) if u get them, a much more safer way is to buy some tiger barbs to eat them and to reduce your feeding. If u have large predatory fish like aro/ST, try to partition the tank if possible so that the TB can do its work in peace ;)

Vermex is encouraged to be used when there is an "uncontrol" ww infection.
