For my 3 feet tank, I dilute Nutrafin into a 5 litre container, then put the hose into the tank and on the hose, slowly pouring in the diluted nutrafin.
For my betta tank, I do 100% water change

Now, getting back the habit of changing water twice a month. Change around 20-30% water, add my usual water conditioner (Easy-Life). Later add some black water for my cheapo BP :D

for those fishes that are very sensitive to changes in water parameters like aro, u many want to consider a slower rate of adding water into the tank, so that the changes in the water parameters are not too drastic

since you are using a hose, you may want to slow down the flow that's all

This question is for the discus expert. These few days i realizing that lot of discus very easily contacted with cloudy eyes, is this related to the water condition? Because these few days kept raining especially at the North, I not sure about other areas! One of my wife friend, her tank of discus all contacted with cloudy eyes, hope to get this solve asap. THanks!

100% water change for my fishes at the end of day after the last meal. I add in hypo crystals for anti chlorine. No filters or whatsoever.

during that month, PH is very high from tap water.
is a good practise to add water conditioner whenever there is a WC :stick_out_tongue: .

for me, WC as and when needed depends on the tank water parameter :stick_out_tongue:

These days, I just used anti-chlorine and water direct from tap
doing 100% water change for my discus.
:stick_out_tongue: :stick_out_tongue:
I'll just drain off 1/4 water and top it up dirctly from tap. Of course with some salt and anti chlorine.

I use Sera brand from germany. Mineral salt, those that cost S$1 a packet. These are for regular weekly water change.
