"Last Saturday night, Stall No. 43 at Newton Hawker Centre overcharged a group of tourists who ate there, including S$239 for eight tiger prawns......"

Few years back, I had my dinner at Newton Hawker Centre and was also overcharged $24 for two tiger prawns...... expensive hor! :niak tongue:

actually i find the price reasonable lei.

Its tiger prawns lei. At 30 cm, such big prawns do not come cheap.

Is there a association to compliant on these tourist for being unreasonable?:dhuh:

The tourists complained to the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and the NEA took up the case.

Normally, if we patron a food stall which overcharge us or the food is not nice, we won't complain. We just advise others not to go to that stall again anymore lor ....... :grin smile:

Har? S'poreans not happy with tourist? ...... Hmm..... :stunned: Complain to CASE (Consumer Association of S'pore) or S'pore Tourism Board lor or ??? .....
