i hv 2 kinds,kingkong parrots and nomal parrots,mine dont really fade,i jus feed nomal pallets,i think u need to keep your ph low,some bros saw it that day!:) will look out for u.

yes, pH will drop overtime, that is why u need coral chips to buffer against the drop in pH

ppl keep fishes in diff ways,for me some coral chips n mineral rocks,nothing fancy in the medic box,can add a little black water if u wan too:)

Just got myself 10 taiwan lucky parrots yesterday at a fish shop near to Rainbow/Petmart in Serangoon.

$45 for 10 pcs, expensive? :)

will update once they are stable....... now all still hiding at one corner :(

Buy from the taiwanese auntie, scoop from the tank on the floor one issit?

5 of my parrots are from there. For parrots, must keep many, if not they scared, hide 1 corner. Initially, i only kept 5, all hide 1 corner, after that, i added another 5 (from the 10 for $45 tank), they are less timid and swim around more often. Give it a week for them to get used to the new environment

But those Taiwanese KKP is more expensive, $20 per pcs. :(

That's why I went for those Taiwan Lucky Parrots lor.

slightly better as compare to last few dasy. Last few days, there are few, totally faded away until leave very light pink or white. Now coming back to a bit like orange color. Still long way to become Ang Ang BP leh.

I think the $45 for 10 parrots are no good, I also bought 5, all 5 colour fade, my other 5 from other LFS still swee swee.

Got 1 of them, didn't see properly take back home then realize, around the eyes is red colour (should be silver) I thought different breed, that one got alot of problems, white spots, fins clamp. After I quarantine them with pimafix, much better. 1 thing I realize, eyes back to silver colour, but the colour fade until sibei jialat.

So, I assume the red eyes are colour enhancers which fade after a while
