Welcome to Fish-Hub.com internet site with Fish-Hub.com League Systems functions. Fish-Hub.com provides fish competition for fish hobbyists to showcase and display skills of finest fish growth, grooming and beauty. If you participate in any forum within Fish-Hub.com site, you agree to follow our Fish-Hub League Systems rules, regulations, terms & conditions.
Category of League Systems
Users or visitors shall remain solely responsible for all personal content of their images or pictures submitted to the committee in our forums. Welcome on board to our fish-hub community.

Glad to see your keen interest and here are the very brief procedures pertaining to discus league :

- condition your best discus to be participated,
- paste the fish-hub tag onto your glass tank,
- take pictures of 2 nos right side, 2 nos left side and 1 no front and ensure all pics taken with discus position near the tag as evident of live/true discus,
- email to modof fish-hub,
- will then consolidate and select the best 3 pics to upload into the fixtures to compete,
- score sheets will be conducted/assessed by judge,
- each discus will be assessed with every discus and the fixtures of matches will be weekly basis,
- 3 points for win, 1 point for draw.
- end of league will be the eventual winner with most points won,
- rewards are trophy for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and all participants will have a certificate (laser printed) with pic of the discus participated with final rank position.

Yes, in the process of doing up a mini cup logo which atthe end of the league will be refelected below the member's avartar.

No worries, once all pics are collected, we consolidate and will do up all uploading once for all. To kick start, no doubt much work, but along the way, we then only sit back and wait for weekly scores.

No prob, and we are open to anyone. Hopefully, they are able to join before the deadline so that once we compile all applications, we are able to do once for all. Can discuss further.

4) IMO competitors only need to submit 1 photograph with the fish-hub tag.

We prefer 5 photos and we'll select the best 3 pics. This is to avoid problems for the judge to assess. At least we have given much concern for the judge to be able to look at more areas into the fish to determine the winner. Any probs on pic taking, we try to make a trip down to take for them if permitted.

In addition, we also hope applicants understand it is less hassle just to take 5 photos rather than the conventional way of having a open exhibition on discus competition which, invloves packing the fish, driving down to the destination, checking water parameters, etc.

If anyone has other opinion, maybe like to share too?

Coz if stick the tag 2 the tank liao quite diff 2 take photo if the fish dun 1 go near the tag. :cool:
I suggest make the tag wif a stick (Like those Flag wif pole). Den 1 hand hold the tag the other hold the camera.
Like dat more easy 2 take photo. Juz my personal suggestion. :D

hey, wad do u mean well done? Its not well done to me.

As a Chief Editor here, I easily can spot where is the difference. Take a look closer, if the tag tends to overlap, u have to see the darker shade behide fish-hub.com which i see very clear and no shades behind at all.

Look closer at the centre and and majority(90%) do not have background shade. Seems like same colour as the fish. If u look at the discus sample..it is dark blur.

Hence, will not work if someone tries this with us.

hehe... i'm not a graphics editing expert, spent only about 5 mins doing that. just wanted to prove the point that it's still easy to manipulate the graphics if one really wants to do it. i think anf's idea of making the tag into a flag is good, it becomes a lot more difficult to digitally add a flag. :D

we get to see many applications and could spot it easily compared to normal users.

We can tell from the effects on wordings, effects on transparency background, over lapping background shades, etc.

Hence, your 5 mins work makes it worthless.:p

Somehow, we will leave it to the participants to decide how they would prefer to take pics, and we'll be happy enough to see the logo tag as evidence will do.
