Yes, its proven works. So far i been putting in my home made ketapang water into my tank for coming to 2 weeks, i can see that the aro is getting less aggressive and the colour is becoming more beautiful, and the most happy is i start to see my all my tigers their torn tail is patching back :) Look like this ketapang leave is a must for my tank now ;)

BlackWater will only help to calm the Aro making it less jumpy but will not take away its aggression,

the properties of ketapang leave is that it promotes healing, helps the digestive systems and because the natural habitat is amazon river. The blackish water actually creates a natural habitat. Therefore, the fish will feel more secure and less stressed. In this case less jumpy.

K Leaf can calm aro but not agression.... In an Aro Comm Blackwater does not really stop the fight.... is the strong current in the water from Blower distracting the aro thus becoming less agressive.

Yes, blackwater can help reducing the stress of the aro, but somehow increase their aggressiveness and resulting them more into fights. Maybe not with Tigers, try putting the same species into the tank. Then you will know....

For arowanas, they are territorial fishes and it is very unlikely to find anything to calm them down.

Unless the comm of aro started when young.... once 12 " and above... very hard to tame....
