Dear friends,

Can share your effective methode of deworming or prevention of internal bacteria ?

I usually mixed the anti worm & anti paragone medication ( brand Fanken) into the beef heart once a month. But my discus seems do not like to eat that BH anymore which is mixed with medication. They pick it 2-3x only, then thatīs all. Normal BH will be eaten by them like hungry ghost........:-)

Is it effective just to mix the deworming agent to the water, temperatur 29°C ? Thx b4.

maybe you can add lesser of your deworming medicine into your bh?

Thx bro Edward.....may be ur rite.......I just pour in the medication agak-agak only without measuring. Will reduce it next time and see whatīs happen.

Pak Suri,

No need to deworm montly. When you are healthy, doens't meant that you are "free" from virus/bacteria/germs. So would you keep taking med in order to prevent from getting sick? Same like fish.

I agreed with Brother Oscar. If we are not sick why do we need to take medication? When I get started with Discus keeping I was advice to deworm my discus monthly because I am feeding them with Beef Heart. But my thought is if my fishes is not sick why do I need to? Just prevention? Putting unneccessary chemical into the tank is bad if those fishes in not sick. I will only treat them if they are sick. Just my thought.

Ya fully agree wif Oscar77 & CPJ........I dun deworm my fish lor cos they r health not sick at all....:D :D
