:) I had always love plakats, when I was first introduced to Giant Plakats I was thrilled and speechless. Can you imagine when I first brought home a Giant Plakat and I put him beside a RD plakat, my poor RD plakat quickly became a pale white plakat. I reckon he was scared out of his wits becos of the size and HD red colour. Giants also have a tendency to eat a LOT more than a normal betta. Another thing I like about Giants is that you can actually see his facial expression and teeth much better! Can you imagine your betta growing to 6-7 inches? The thought of it really astounds me!

Anyone have the same thoughs as me? would like to listen to your views

at least 10...

now most of them either die or sold off..

still keep 1 or 2 in my age water tanks..

Of cos ....me a Giant Fanatic...brother nasha. I am going over to Thailand this coming 26-29 Oct....just booked the tour already. Will be visiting the JJ market...LOL will get a true giant pair there.

This got to check with my wife and sister in law to see if they are ginger enough to venture into fishfarms...hehheh.

yup you are absolutely right, if not what is the point of keeping true giants. I am not satisfy with genos, I will make sure what I am getting in thailand will be the real stuffs.

yellow is in demand. too bad its only 2.5 inches . but its still worth buying if you happen to visit him. you cant get them here. the farm oso not that far fr airport i guess. bring them along la. he's very friendly:smile:

I saw Red Giant HMPK but only 50% giant and 2.7 inches. not big enough for me, but the red is pretty nice and the plus point is that it is a HMPK.

hahaha not to worry, i got 1 big spawn of giant at farm. still small abt 1 inch. i think u saw the giant male at Dennis place b4. both are from giant parentage. sorry no pic , but u can see them if you happen to go 96 STgh:smile:

giant must be big. the bigger the better chance to win. no matter how good the finnaged is. but as you know giant tend to be lazy as it grow bigger but the price not cheap leh. like to keep them at young aged and watch them grow to full size giant but too bad i never achived that. :crying:

i've kept giants before.. like 3 years ago.. when BK was still around.. agreed that the price was not cheap.. think it was about 4-5 inch before i sold it off.. :wink:

I personally saw a Giant HM, a Giant HMPK before in the last BCS 2006 comp at bukit timah plaza before. I also read online about giant genes of CT possible as well. You might want to do some research on that.
