Hello!
I have two Orandas who are both about 13 cm long. I really want a Ranchu and will be getting a bigger tank soon.
The Ranchu at my local store are babies (only about 3.8 cm). My question is that should I let the baby Ranchu grow up a little before putting him in the same tank with the Orandas?
I am going to put live plants in the new tank so maybe if I put enough for the baby Ranchu to hide? Will he be okay? I'm afraid my Orandas will eat him.

Yes, it will be ideal for you to separate her with the others. You must understand it hard for her fight with the others for food, as they are much bigger and better swimmers. You can try it out but do monitor the situation if you have no other choice but to put them together.

By adding plants or hidding place, irregardless she still stress right?

And orandas will not eat her even she is small sizes.
