A divider with a hole (about less than 1cm wide) in the center, do you think is good for plakats (to maintain it finnage) as they can occasionally flare at each other? Also that I understand that stress fish cannot withstand constant flaring so got this idea from one of the bro. Any advise? :embarrassed:

I had seen this in some of the brothers' home too and as well as some of the LSH. This is a good method to enable the betta to flare accasionally, especially if you are not always at home to flare the bettas.

Okie so if we do it this way then we can skip letting the bettas flare for 15 minutes after meal right?

more or less

but over a period of time maybe like 3-4 weeks, I would suggest that you change the positions of the tanks so the bettas would have new neighbours

Sorry to side-track a bit....Is there any problem of letting bettas flaring each other for days and weeks? Or is there reason for isolating them and then exposing them on and off to flare with whoever is their neighbour??
