My RTG has grown to 13" after 2 years and is still growing.

I notice that red coloring of the tail has not kept up with its growth.

There is a white fringe at the extreme edge of the tail.

Is this due to bacteria infection, inadequate diet or just genetic ?

Fellow members, pls advise if you have encountered similiar growth

pattern in your fish.

I f the fish continues to grow, will the color of the tail eventually covers

the complete tail ?

Bro, may i know what is the regular diet?? White fringe on the end of the fin might be not enough good foods...hahaha.
Furthermore, 2 yrs old but just 13"??....looks like stunted. :grin smile:

Bro,

My RTG is fed daily ( once ) on prawn and scallops.

I have use live food at all.

Is this diet adequate ?

I tried feeding twice per day but my RTG not keen on the second offer.

Rgds
