Please share the method you prefer to feed your discus.
Most people are out working so they do not have a choice, but to feed their fishes only when they are at home. While others have the luxury of having maids or someone else to help feed their discus many times a day.
For me i will feed them 3 times a day before their much needed water change. But when i am home i will feed them every 3 hourly.
Whats your method? Share and discuss how we can help improve our feeding regiment.

I think 2 feeding a day for those ppl who are out can already. Once in the morning and once in the evening before WC.

What i do note is that discus will tend to sleep when the lights are dim around 10pm. At this time, they will eat very little nearly to nothing.

Just sharing my observation

Izzit discus will get good apetitize in a clean water enviornment?

Yes they do like clean water very much.

For me, I fed 2-3times per day and at the end of water change, will give them some snacks-bw/brine shrimp.

Not too sure abt the dim lights thing. For myself my discus will eat anytime as long as there is food for them.

I guess your discus are stressed up by the water parameters that's why they are all inactive and listless. For me i wc everyday and i do not face this problem myself.
And i believe that healthy discus are eating machines.

I fed my discus 3 to 4 times a day...
Before school, after school, before WC & maybe after WC...
SO I assume my discus stop hunting for food only when I go to sleep??

Discus will be more active and have better appetitde after WC. Just my observation. So is good opportunity to train discus to accept new food after WC.

Good pointer. Would try that when i want to train them to take a new kind of food.
