There are many nice RED MELON by many hobbier but it is just that they did not post them in the forum. Although I came in 1st and 2nd for my Tropical Red in the National Discus Competition in 2005, it is just nothing compared to many expert out there. They are still room to improve on this fish. :embarrassed:
Thank you for your compliment and hope you enjoy it.

Edward, you are right Grape Fruit is rounder and lemon is oval shape not so nice.
Aquarian, you are also right as it is close lemon. However, since this straint is Melon it is better to name it as Melon instead. :stick_out_tongue:

For every one's info, CPJ is a hobbyist but he specializes in solid colour fishes like super melons and most recently he has developed the yellow fish. He won last years 1st and 2nd position for solid red category in National Discus competition 2005.
1st position red..

I will with all these encouragement. Actually I am far from all those expert out there. I am still learner from everyone. I am still trying to improve further on these two prize winning Tropical Red as it have not meet my dream fish so far. Edward always tell me that I have set too high a standard. He is the one who encourage me to join the 2005 National Discus Competition.
Thank Edward.
